Blogging Tools- The Best of 2022

If you are starting a blog, these are our best blogging tools of 2022! I have made so many mistakes, done things the hard way, learned so many lessons in starting a blog.

In this blog post, I will highlight my favorite blogging tools for beginners or if you have been blogging for a bit and not seeing the results you want. These are blog tools that have helped make my blogging journey easier, have gained traffic organically, and that has been invaluable.

The Best Blogging Tools of 2022 to help your blog scale and monetize

It’s important to state that I personally use everything I am recommending. These are blog tools that I have found that make my blogging journey efficient and have concrete value in creating the success of my blog. I hope the same for you.

Best Blogging Tools

I am going to lead with this blogging tool first and you will find it the MOST IMPORTANT thing to the success of your blog. SEO. Without knowledge of correct SEO, you might as well quit now.

If you are looking for blogging tools for beginners or you are two years, three years deep into your blog with absolutely no success, are getting very little traffic, you need this course. NEED.

I was hesitant about Stupid Simple SEO. I thought, well it can’t be that hard. I will order some books, read resources online, which are all free.

Free doesn’t always mean efficient. I did gain some valuable knowledge, I did come across a couple of really valuable books that helped with my traffic. BUT, until I signed up and made payments to Stupid Simple. I had very little, embarrassing traffic.

What this guy teaches you, is invaluable. The way he teaches you is, well, stupid simple. Lightbulbs will be going off the entire time in your head and you will have a new motivation to complete the course and apply these techniques to your work.

I waited a year and wasted so much time not getting this course. I got this course in November 2021. I paid in payments, it hurt me a bit but now I look at that as a crucial investment and one of the best things I have spent my blogging budget on. Let me rephrase that. ITS THE BEST money I have spent.

In November 2021, I had 800 pageviews. I was about 8 months into blogging. Please note, blogging isn’t an overnight, make 5K venture in the first couple of months like these bloggers say. If it were that easy, everyone would do it. It is hard, it is freaking hard. I have struggled.

February 10, 2022, as I write this right now, I have 5k ORGANIC page views. Not Pinterest or Social Media but I do kill it on Pinterest.

I know what you’re thinking, BUT you need 50K a month, the sweet spot, for Mediavine?

Ok, fair. But here is the kicker in my blogging journey. I went through all my OLD posts, did not make new posts, and applied the Stupid Simple techniques and my organic views jumped that much. I am now just starting new ones with the information and knowledge I learned.

SEO is where you need to start. This will determine your success in this dog-eat-dog blogging world. I promise you this should be your first investment in your future.

Blogging Tools You need to make it the dog-eat-dog world of blogging

Blogging Tool For Faster, More Efficiant Blog Posts

Jasper.ai (formally Jarvis) is all the rage. But what the heck is it? It’s a cutting-edge, artificial intelligence copywriting tool that can help you write better copy faster than ever before. In fact, I wrote this paragraph with Jasper. Sound too good to be true? I thought so. With Jasper.ai, you’ll be able to create persuasive copy that drives conversions and boosts your bottom line in a shorter, more efficient amount of time.

What you can do on Jasper.Ai:

  • Make copy for your blog or business, including blog post introduction and conclusion paragraphs
  • Create descriptions and bullets for Amazon products
  • Create Pinterest pin descriptions
  • Improve content you have written already.
  • Create compelling blog post titles, product descriptions,
  • Brainstorm blog post or article ideas
  • Facebook headlines and clickable primary texts
  • Create converting headlines for Google Ads
  • SEO meta titles and descriptions
  • Engagement-worthy captions for Instagram

And so much more….

Ever get a major brain fart or writer’s block? I do for sure. This blog tool has helped me so much, if you use it correctly and learn how it works, it’s amazing. Sound too good to be true? I thought so, but once you learn how to use Jasper.Ai, I am telling you, GAME CHANGER.

What I use mainly Jasper.Ai the most for.

I use Jasper really for everything, however, the one feature I use the most of is the Pinterest pin description generator. I get a lot of my traffic from Pinterest. I HATE doing my pin descriptions, like hate it.

When you are generating more than 200 new pins a month (I love Pinterest, I am doing fewer pins now that I am getting Google traffic from Stupid Simple) doing individual, fresh descriptions for each pin is daunting.

When I use Jasper.Ai, there is a template for Pinterest descriptions. You add in your blog post title, you add your important keywords, and generate as many descriptions as your heart desires, Jasper will even give you unique titles for your pins.

Blogging Tools-The Correct Hosting Platform

When I first started looking into blogging, everyone and their brother suggested Bluehost, and I fell for it. Why do they suggest Bluehost? Well, for every sign-up they get $65 which adds up if you are getting a lot of clicks and sales. It’s a very high-paying affiliate network.

Which I am guilty of. I just changed this particular paragraph from why you should get a Bluehost website. I was trying to get that sale for the large commission. Shame. I apologize.

I even see huge bloggers promote Bluehost and they are definitely not using Bluehost as the hosting platform.

The worst part? Bluehost is known as an affiliate marketer dream with their commission rates and you as a newbie are stuck with an insanely slow site speed and slow servers.

What does this mean for you? You get to pay a very small price for the first year, then pay a ton for your hosting and site when that year ends and a stinking slow site that your guests will leave because the server is SLOW.

Moving your host and website to another server. It is not easy but when I moved mine, my website speed is lightning speed, my traffic tripled in a matter of a couple of weeks. I moved to Cloudways and it was one of the best decisions I have made for my business and gaining traffic.

The Ultimate Managed Hosting Platform

Best Blogging Tools-Proofreading

Grammarly. Grammarly as a free blogging tool is great, but to avoid looking like a rookie (I am guilty of this, still am but we all make mistakes), check and double-check your spelling and grammar. I have severe (diagnosed) ADHD and hurrying through things to get “done” is a big challenge for me.

Until I downloaded Grammarly on my Chrome extension, I found so many errors and spelling errors. Blogging is writing, consider yourself a writer. I suggest spending a bit each month and getting the upgraded version, it will save you from embarrassing little (and in my case, large) mistakes.

Yes, I still make mistakes; I get excited and type away and forget to run my work through Grammarly, it’s a mistake in the long run because I have to waste my time going back through old posts fixing it. I have done it a lot when I could be focusing on new posts.

If you want to work with brands and sponsors, they will look for professional blog posts. You have to look at your blog as a business and an investment; you will have to put some money into it.

Best Blogging Tools-Build Your Email List

When it comes to email marketing, everyone knows that having a healthy list is key to a successful campaign. But how do you go about building that list? One popular blogging tool for doing so is Mailerlite.

The point of a newsletter Is to keep your readers reading your content and possibly doing affiliate marketing inside of that weekly, bi-weekly, and/or monthly newsletter.

There is a lot of working parts when you set up a successful email marketing campaign. I have tried out a few email platforms and found this one to be the most user-friendly.

  • First and foremost, MailerLite is incredibly easy to use. You don’t need any special skills or knowledge to start using MailerLite. In fact, you can get started with MailerLite in just a few minutes. This makes it the perfect platform for beginner email marketers.
  • MailerLite is affordable. You can get started with MailerLite for free and after 1000 subscribers, its just $10 per month, which is a fraction of the cost of other email marketing platforms. This makes it an attractive option for small businesses and entrepreneurs who are looking to grow their email lists without breaking the bank.
  • MailerLite offers a wide range of features that make it easy to create beautiful and effective email newsletters. You can use their drag-and-drop editor to quickly build professional looking emails in just minutes. It also offers a variety of templates that allow you to send out beautifully designed newsletters without having any technical skills or knowledge.

In order to be successful, you need the right blogging tools, especially in a dog-eat-dog blogging world. The competition is tough, but you got this.

These tools will help make your blogging process easier and more productive. Make sure to try out all of these tools and find the ones that work best for you. What are some other tools or resources you use when blogging?
